The hood is nice and deep but also has drawcords to cinch it tight so the wind doesn't blow it off. Took one star off because I find it a bit too roomy at the bottom and even with the drawcords to pull it in tighter I'm worried it might be drafty. Also because the lining is a bright blue colour which I feel was a really strange choice to pair with the dark brownish purple colour of the outer fabric. Would have preferred the same colour as the shell or at least something more complimentary and less boldly clashing.

The only con would be the cuffs, material with thumbholes would have made this item perfect and even warmer, but the elastic material makes it a little uncomfortable.
