Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed So disappointed with this item. Bought it for my daughter for Christmas and my husband bought the same one for me. It’s a nice looking sweatshirt, but after washing on cold gentle and drying part way on low, then hanging to dry, it shrunk an unacceptable amount. In fact, a friend asked if the style was meant to have 3/4 length sleeves! Sleeve length is now about 3 inches above my wrist bone and the length of the sweatshirt exposes my back if I bend forward even slightly. My daughter had sized up so that it would be a relaxed fit, followed the washing and drying instructions, and now finds it uncomfortably small. She said she would have gone 2 sizes up had she known, as would I have. I have bought many things from Roots over the years, lots of clothing and leather bags, both for myself and as gifts for others. This sweatshirt does not live up to Roots usual quality, and was not worth full price by any means. Even at half price, I strongly recommend you buy it 2 sizes bigger than your normal size, or pass on this one.

Purchased a medium, despite usually being a small, because I was seeking an oversized fit. Arms and body shrunk significantly. Fits more like a cropped sweater with 3/4 sleeves. Does not meet Roots’ usual high quality standards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from APPLIQUES!!! I love it! I get a new applique crew or hoodie every year and it never fails me. I love the red plaid engraving on the grey it looks so good. I got this crew oversized just because I want it baggier, I usually wear medium but I grabbed a large. I love the quality it’s really soft, perfect for this winter coming up.
