Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Long Hoodie! Glad that Roots carries a longer hoodie. I bought the black and grey, and plan to wear them regularly. I hope Roots continues to carry this style as it was a challenge to find the longer length elsewhere. The fabric is soft and seems of good quality.

These are a great hoodie - sturdy, well-made, longer length and that awesome two-way zipper - and I have yet to find anything similar easily available.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Hoodie BUT!!!! I wanted this hoodie for a long time and finally ordered it. It's very nice but the zipper is terrible. It takes me several tries to do it up. If I would have known this I would never have gotten it, I have never had a bad zipper b4 and I have several Roots hoodies. Such a well made product why would you ever add a cheap zipper like this. I also find that the length bunches the zipper some. Very sad!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oooh so cozy with style Very cozy and warm. The hood is great for blocking wind. Initially, the sleeves were tight but with use, the sleeves loosened and are now ok. I love the salt & pepper look but I wish there were other colours too such as Prince purple & pepper, red wine & pepper, milk chocolate & salt, etc Also, Roots should make a hoodie for popular tourist destinations such as Niagara, Whistler, etc. Also, magnificent animals such as the Grizzly, Polar bear, bighorn sheep, wolf, orca, etc should have a hoodie in their honour

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rotten zipper Bought myself this 3 weeks ago and really like the hoodie but the zipper works terrible. It takes me several tries or I have to ask my husband to help me. I have always had great Roots Hoodies and never ran into this before. The trouble seems to be that it looks like it is missing a tooth near the bottom, also not a good quality heavy zipper like most of them use to have. It also seems long on me, perhaps I should have gotten a medium ipo the large. I would give it 5 stars but I feel for the price I paid the zipper should be heavier and also working. I wish I would have sent it back but I wanted to give it a chance. So unless you can try this on at a store to test the zipper, don't buy it. Pick something else.
