Bought the black for a more dressed up look as you can wear it as a crossbody or handles only. I fit my S22 Samsung phone, keys, lipgloss and a couple of other small items with ease. Would love to get this in the shearling version! Highly recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from compact size for errands i like how compact it is but still has enough depth to contain my essentials: keys, card wallet, coin purse, s23 phone and ear phones. the leather is nice and, i believe, is more hard-wearing for daily use -- it being pebbled grained and semi-aniline but still being top grained leather. however, i'm disappointed with the construction. the four sides are just folded in and stitched together without piping; i'm not sure if that kind of construction will hold up since the stitching could pop, but time will only tell. since it's not lined, the zipper should have two lanes of stitches so that the fabric of the zipper inside is flat against the leather. as it is, it constantly gets rubbed every time i put things in and pull things out that could potentially tug at the stitching. although i like the simplicity of it, roots could have added some compartmentalization inside like a zipped and slip pockets. i know that the compartments will be small and may seem non-sensical or unuseable, but the michael kors Carine Extra-Small satchel has it. it even has a zipped pocket outside and slip pocket as well, and i find that it helps me separate things that would otherwise get scratched up like a leather wallet or items that would just roll around inside like lip balm, hair tie and and cream. so that's why i'm only rating this three stars: minus 1 star for lack of compartments and less 1 star for so-so construction.
