Only natural vegetable extracts from chestnuts and Argentinean quebracho trees are used in the tanning process.
Vegetable tanned leather is strong and only gets better and more beautiful with time. It will develop a distinct patina that reflects the owners travel and use. Over time, vegetable tanned leather will age or darken. Things like sun exposure water, and conditioning will also contribute to the aging process. This a natural characteristic of vegetable tanned leather which will make your product one-of-a-kind. To care for vegetable tanned leather; spot clean with a clean damp cloth and let air dry. Test in inconspicuous area prior to cleaning.
