Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's just okay i bought this because it has the maple leaf on the cover and supple tribe leather. unfortunately, the leather wasn't supple, even after i've conditioned with with the roots protector cream. the inside is the leather's raw back, which doesn't feel good in every sense of the word. i also don't get the purpose of the credit card slots. usually when ppl travel, they bring some foreign currency with them, but this doesn't have a bill compartment, so ppl like me have a separate wallet where we put that in, and those wallets almost always have credit card slots and a coin pocket. i have a roots passport wallet that has all of that, and it even has a pen insert in the middle, which comes very handy at airports. but i'm looking to separate the passport now since it's more handy to keep all the airport things in one pouch/wallet to give to the gate attendants rather than pulling an entire wallet from my bag with money and credit cards and ids, especially when i'm carrying hand luggages. it's also more practical to have money stored separately from my passport so i don't lose it whenever i have to pay for things at the airport. i don't really recommend this particular passport wallet because it's not structured and will just bend anywhere you put it. the leather outside is fine, but the interior feels very unpleasant to the touch. i don't really care for the credit card slots, and i think others don't as well. it would be more handy to add a pen slip in there and compartments for specific airport documents, maybe even a clip to keep longer documents attached to the outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maple leaf for the win! This leather passport cover is of great quality, the leather feels soft and premium. The maple leaf patch is beautiful and makes this cover very Canadian. Passport fit nicely in the cover without being overly tight, I'd recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from STOP SELLING ITEMS YOU DONT HAVE AVAILABLE Soo disappointed that a brand the quality of Roots has adopted the shabby practice of selling Negative Quantity items - that is, “We dont know if we actually have any stock, but we’ll let you buy it, then annoy you later when we tell you we dont have it”…I would have ordered nothing whatsoever if I had known I wasnt getting that item as promised when it showed as “In Stock” - thats the key point here Roots: You’re telling your customers you HAVE IT, then pulling the rug ONLY AFTER they spend additional money. BTW Its commonly called “Bait & Switch”, and is a despicable practice that is easily avoided by employing Point Of Sale software toggled to “Do Not Allow 0 Quantity Sales”…50 years building an iconic brand only to behave like a carnival huckster? What a shame
