I recently purchased the new Ella Cargo Bag in Ebene, and it's even better than the original Ella. It's gorgeous, roomy and can be carried as a shoulder bag or as a crossbody. The Cloud leather is soft and beautiful. I plan to order it in black as well. I hope Roots introduces this bag in more colours.

So yeah, Roots surprised me. Ordered brown for fall and her birthday. She loves it and had everyone smell that leather smell. lol Made in Canada all the way! She’s happy and I’m happy.

It's a timeless design with two super handy exterior pockets and lots of room inside to hold a good number of everyday items. My only wish for this purse would be for it to come in a bigger size, with a laptop compartment. This additional design feature and larger size would allow me to give this product 5stars.

I was called back to the office full time after working remotely since the pandemic. I wanted a bag that looked more professional but also would be good for casual weekends. I don't change my bag and tend to carry the same one for years. Love the outside pocket for my phone. Easily accessible but secure with zipper. This bag is the perfect size. Not too big, but big enough. Love the option of cross body or shoulder strap. My only suggestion would be to make the strap a little thicker. The shoulder strap is perfect, but the crossbody strap is a little thin. I find the cross body strap on the villager to be more comfortable. I took of a star for the cross body strap width.
