That being said the buttons are loose and some are already falling off so now I’m to scared to wear it out in public now as I don’t know how to re attach the buttons myself and I’m scared to lose them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy wool coat I love this coat. Classy and the fabric is thick enough to stay great on you . I wish it was lined the whole coat for durability. I had to go one size down as I am tall. I usually wear Medium, and I had to go to small. I could buy XS too but i preferred to have room for layers. This week I am in Ottawa, and I am wearing it to test it in cold weather.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful coat - buttons fell off within an hour. I wanted to love this coat and I do. It fits nicely and looks great. My complaint is that within an hour of wearing it the two main buttons fell off. I expect I will have to check and stitch all the buttons before I wear it again and I can’t find thread that matches. If you can’t sew a button DO NOT get this beautiful coat.

I placed an order in-store with the promise of online delivery, but after waiting nine days, the item never arrived. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that the purchase should have been handed over at the time of payment. They reached out to the Eaton Centre branch to review camera footage and confirm whether the coat had been given to me, which I understand is standard procedure. However, I had to follow up myself two days later, as I received no response after the initial call. Ultimately, I went to the Eaton Centre location and requested a refund. Despite the store having responded to customer service, I was never updated. I’m disappointed by the slow and disorganized process, and I won’t consider shopping with Roots again unless I see a clear improvement in their service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great coat but loose buttons Love this coat so much. The material and weight is perfect. The only issue is the buttons aren’t in great and after a few wears two fell off. Thankfully I caught one and it came with an extra.
