Bought 3 new pairs (different colours) recently and I can tell they are a different material, already pilling/pulling, and inside the sock is poorly made with many loops to get toes caught on. My old ones were not like that at all. Most things are more poorly made in the last couple of years, and I guess Roots is not the exception.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Get holes too quickly for the price Absolutely love the socks and have bought many pairs, but they last one season at best before going threadbare in areas or getting holes in various areas. I kept hoping with each year I purchased them that the quality would improve but it hasn’t. Sadly this year I’m giving up on them.
