Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disappointed with Roots' customer service This is a beautifully made bag, as all Roots leather bags are. Sheepskin with black leather trim and adjustable strap. It said online that the strap was also removable, which sounded like a good idea to me, so that it could also be used as a clutch. Turns out this was false advertising- the strap cannot be removed. I asked Roots for a price adjustment since their description was in error. They said that this wasn't possible, but that I could have a 20% coupon for one new Roots purchase. To me this is really not much of anything as when their items are on sale, it's for more than 20%, so essentially the coupon is worthless, unless it can also be used on sale items too. I'm surprised that Roots isn't more understanding, since this is their error, and they don't seem to care too much about customer satisfaction. They said they would change the description of the bag so that it was not incorrect anymore. All well and good, but maybe they should take me into consideration when I'm the one who pointed it out.
