Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but not practical to play The case is is sturdy and heavy duty. Unfortunately the black/white tiles makes it a bit hard to play/identify. The tiles are also mini size, it's not your traditional standard size. I am planning to return this item.

By Monday morning Roots sent me the tracking info and minutes later Fedex sent me an update and delivery time. Tuesday the package arrived. I was pleased with the product, the customer service, and the updates..Ordered and delivered for free in under 48 hours. Anyone who sells online should take notes on how its done.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice tiles but there are imperfections black tiles are interesting and unique, but I don’t like that the painting on the tiles are basically red or white. There is no green or blue. Also, one of the tiles was weird. One of the two ten thousand tiles looked like three ten thousand tile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this idea Next time, what if we etched the beaver logo on the back in gold on Roots Green tiles? (Which would go so nicely with splashes of red and white from the suits.) Mahjong is all about the art of calligraphy and illustration, so while the Roots 50 lockup makes sense, this could have balanced the Chinese-Canadian of it all so much nicer.
