Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful bag, serious design flaw :( I received this product last month and absolutely love the look and pockets. Unfortunately, after the second time using the bag I noticed a serious design flaw. The most important aspect, the backpack straps, are glued! After carrying my small laptop and water bottle for the day (similar items as pictured in product photos), I noticed a difference in the straps - see attached photo. This is not the quality I expected from Roots and a product retailing $458 :( I do love the bag and wish the straps were sewn like the handle. Note: I have not yet had the chance to contact Roots about the issue so I am not sure about any remedy.
