However i don’t understand why the shoulder strap is removable (and is mentioned as such in the description) when there isn’t another optional (crossbody) strap to replace it! Why make it removable and describe it as almost a “perk” of the bag? Why would someone use this bag without a strap? It has even been designed to be extremely easy to remove the strap as the rings have a section where, by pressing them, they open so the strap can be removed. Like the previous reviewer, I am using a crossbody strap from another Roots bag (not everyone would necessarily have one). I am just a bit boggled as to why push the concept of the removable shoulder strap when there is no sensible reason to want to remove it if an optional strap is not provided. Hence four stars for the illogical (to me) angle. But a beautiful bag worth five stars or more.
