LEATHER
Vintage Tribe is made in Italy, exclusively for Roots.
Ages to a natural patina & becomes softer with use.
This leather is hand rubbed to give a distinct vintage look.

When Tribe Leather is used in unlined bags, a water based smooth finish is applied to the back of the leather that reduces the leather dust that is transferred to the contents of the bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality and Colour Love the colour and it feels good quality. Works well enough with my Roots Grad School Tribe messenger bag, but I do wish it were a little bit longer. I have it at its maxed-put length and that's just barely good enough. Also, it'd be fun if Roots had some other fun accessories beyond the little wallet bags that might be a good fit for decorating the additional clasp on the strap.
