If I had to find a negative it would be that the hood feels a tad heavy hanging at the back of the dress. Will be perfect for my beach vacation as a cozy cover up.

Although a bit too hot for really hot summer days... it is perfect for cooler days or slipping on to warm up after a swim in the lake. I wish Roots offered different length options. I am 5'2" and it hits just above my knees, where i would prefer it to hit mid thigh

It is excellent for taking care of business around our country property like watering plants, popping over to the mailbox, etc. Have used the hood for protection from both sun and light rain. The large front pocket is also helpful. Great as a cover-up after a swim. Then I just change my shoes and this dress is also perfect for going into the city to shop, out for a casual meal, etc. I have more than one now and enjoy all the different colours!
