For the cost, I think they could have made the zipper a double pull zipper which would have made it more practical to switch the side the sling goes to. Also, I was a bit surprised to see there are no additional interior pockets. At $300+ after taxes, seems like a simple bag. I bought this to use for travel and I think it will be fine for that but it could be a really excellent bag with a few changes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice sling pack! I've been waiting for Roots to bring back a tribe sling pack for years, after seeing a similar well-worn version of this many years ago. Yes, the roominess is limited, but actually pretty adequate for basics like wallet, phone, reusable bags etc considering its simple, compact and streamlined design and profile. Perfect for a quick trip to run errands, shopping or bigger outing that leaves hands free to sort through groceries, carry things or deal with the bill. So happy with my purchase.
