He's been wearing Roots original sweatpants in various colours and sizes for more than 6 years and will continue. I love that they fit generously in length without looking overly baggy unlike many other brands so they last much longer than other styles of pants. Great quality too - my son is a rough outdoor play kind of kid and its very rare that I have to repair the knees. The waist is good too with the adjustable tie as my son is tall and lean. He likes that they are cozy but not hot and that they aren't slim/tight fit as he doesn't like that feeling but also not super baggy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly the pants my granddaughter wanted! My granddaughter has specific taste and said she wanted Roots ‘salt n pepper’ grey sweatpants from Roots. It was a little tricky to see the different greys online, so we went to the nearest Roots store. But, surprise, that store was closing and inventory was low. So I bought them online since it would be returnable. She was real happy when she got them on her birthday and was wearing them right away.

Wish they wouldn’t be so expensive because then I’d buy them more often than just on special occasions or special pricing events through the year (ie Black Friday).
