It can fit multiple books if you're using it for school, but is also great for day trips and packing clothes. It is amazing how much space is in there. I have used it for various purposes over the years. The only issue I had with it was the zipper which I had to get replaced once as the zipper unfortunately was displaced from the teeth. The interior is also unlined, so the suede bits tend to shed a bit and get on what you have inside the backpack, but not a huge deal. Otherwise a great bag and nice quality leather!

The leather is beautiful quality and I can tell it will age nicely like my other Roots leather products. The bag is very spacious, has great features, and is resilient enough for daily use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality leather in a simple backpack design It's a nice looking backpack with basic features. With fewer compartments than a typical "tech" style pack. It does not have a foam pad liner for a laptop as an example. If you prefer style over having more features this is a great option.

This has been an amazing investment as this backpack fits a lot without looking ridiculous. Although it is not lined this has not been an issue for me (no noticeable shedding). Overall an amazing, comfortable, high quality backpack

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good bag, some defects The leather will pill for the first month or so, so expect bitsof leather on books and whatever you put in. The zipper also misaligned (the zipper came apart at the far sides, where the connector pulls can't reach) so it doesn't stay done up. This happened about 2 years in.
