Rated 2 out of 5 by from Itchy Label Inside Slipper - RETURNED!!! I have been eyeing these slippers for years now, and finally decided to get a pair. The quality and craftsmanship seemed great, EXCEPT for fact the Roots label is sewn in the heal of the slipper, and as soon as I tried them on (with socks) I was immediately bothered by the itchy label where my heel rests - fyi the socks I was wearing were average (not too thin, and not thick winter socks). Even with a layer of sock covering my feet, I found the label very itchy and incredibly distracting (and for reference I do not have any sensory specialities that would heighten this itchy uncomfortable sensation). This label was a DEAL BREAKER and the slippers were returned. I cannot even imagine how much worse the label would have felt had I worn them without socks. ROOTS - if you truly care about your customers feedback, PLEASE REMOVE THE LABEL from the heel of the slippers for next year! Find a new placement for the label e.g. on the side of the slippers or a stamped label instead of a sewn one!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snug A bit on the tighter side, which loosens up over time. If you are a half size definitely size up. I'm a 6.5 to 7 and my toes are just within a thumb width from the front. Warm with a durable sole.
