The vintage leather has so much character, and the layout makes thoughtful use of its compact size. There’s a place for cards, bills and coins, with a separate zippered pocket and RFID protection as welcome extras. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reduced Size I purchased a Roots wallet several years ago from a Bentley’s store in a mall. It was a dark blue trifold with “1973” stamped in the leather. It was very similar to one I just purchased from Roots Canada, however, the one that I recently purchased was smaller and thinner than I was expecting it to be. I am a little bit disappointed about that. It is perfectly fine as it is… I just wish it was identical to the one I had.

I have the larger one but wanted a smaller wallet for the summer. Something that easily fits into smaller bags or a pocket. It’s still bulky for a pocket though. There’s plenty of room for cards and cash. The leather is so nice and soft, and folds easily. I love this wallet so much, I may never go back to the larger one.

Fits all the cards I need to carry and I really like to still have a spot for coins. I would have preferred to have the ID slot on the outside of the wallet, hence why I gave 4, not 5 stars.

My only negative would be when I have more than a few bills in it the snap is a little hard to close. This I assume will improve as I work the leather in as it is still pretty new.
