I like the pants and bought a second pair recently - but had to have alterations done to the first pair in order to fit (which were a larger size). I bought a smaller size this time, but they too were big, so decided to return them rather than spend more on alterations this time. When I returned them to the store, the clerk was difficult and suggested the pants were not ‘sales worthy,’ as she used a lint brush excessively which was completely unnecessary. I only tried them on briefly and immediately put them back in the bag to return. If they weren’t ’sales worthy’,they were shipped to me that way. My previous experiences with returns at Roots has been very easy and clerks have been helpful and pleasant and I’ve usually purchased so,etching else while in the store. This time it was not. I doubt I will return to that store anytime soon, and will think twice before ordering online in case the item doesn’t fit.
