LOOK AFTER ME
This leather is tanned in a special process that results in a waterproof finish that's effective up to 15,000 cycles. After long term use, we recommend refreshing this coating with a leather waterproofing spray. Roots Leather Protector can also be used to increase resistance to stains, oils, and water.
  • Wipe off any dirt or dust with a damp soft cloth or sponge
  • Avoid the use of firm bristle brushes or scratchy sponges as these will damage the surface of the leather
  • Never soak the leather
  • Remove excess moisture with a dry soft cloth
  • For stains, use Roots Leather Cleaner to clean the leather, following leather cleaner instructions
  • Follow up with a neutral or colour matched shoe polish to restore colour and shine
Store in a dry, cool place, out of the sun. Do not wrap in plastic. Allow boots to dry in between use.

I can only wear them now on dry days or when I’m indoors. Pretty disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gorgeous boots but very stiff leather! The new Junction boot is very well made using good quality leather as you would expect from Roots. Fit is true to size and they are comfortable to wear with good toe room. The only downside is that compared to my first pair of Roots Chelsea boots (Tobermory Chelsea with sheepskin lining) these are a much stiffer, shinier leather and are taking a good deal of somewhat painful wear to break in which is disappointing compared to the instant comfort I experienced with the soft and supple leather of the original Chelsea boot. My hope is that over time this leather will soften up and I will be able to enjoy my new boots for many years to come!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Look great, extremely uncomfortable I own 6 pairs of roots boots. The previous winter Chelsea was amazing. These boots are poorly designed in the heel. A friend and I both purchased these boots and had the same heel and Achilles pain. The store staff agreed that the design is poor and people are unhappy with the new design.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me. I have worn a pair of Junction Boots for years and looked forward to replacing them this year. Unfortunately, the new style was just not the same boot. While mine were soft leather, a nice shape, and supportive these were stiff, and clunky like Blundstones. They were so uncomfortable around the ankle. As usual Roots quality is excellent, I am sure if I endured I could break them in, but they were just not for me.
