I drop my dog's leash from time to time for training purposes & this makes a soft landing as opposed to those crappy plastic ones. The only suggestion I would have is to use a stronger snap. This is my 2nd one due to the first one popping off somewhere on a NYC street. This new one tried to pop off while I was holding the leash.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute and functional Item was a little larger than expected when it arrived, especially next to my 18 pound dog. Once I attached it to her leash I was pleasantly surprised. It looks great and works really well. No worrying about the bags falling out of the holder any more! Snaps on easily to the leash. Pulling the bag out takes a little getting used to, but if you hold the sides of the holder with one hand while pulling the bag with the other, the bag will come out easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute design not quite practical While really cute, the snap keeps opening, causing the pouch to fall off. Adding a clip to the pouch will prevent this.
