Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great EXCEPT for crotch area Love the fit of these, material is generally great and they are very comfy, BUT the crotch area is stupidly made of some really thin fabric that is different from the rest of the pant & that fabric rips easily and pills almost immediately. Super disappointing and weird choice for no good reason.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inconsistant sizing and fabrics but still great. I bought my first pair of these in beige at the mall and they are super thick, hold their shape well, so warm! So I bought 8 more pairs for me and my husband in various colors.. and wow the inconsistency is so visible across all the fabrics, no 2 colors even look like the same pants! They are not necessarily bad, any of them, but I’ve noticed the beige are thick soft structured, the black ones are thick soft but much tighter fitting, form fitting if you will, and the dark brown are super light but soft and thick like am wearing a throw blanket.. and like an inch and a half longer than they others, I also have dark green… these are barely soft at all, much thinner like the originals used to be before they started cheapening out on the fabric. I am still waiting for a few different colors to arrive I will write another review for them when they do. All in all they are still great pants, probably the warmest ones I’ve bought and great to wear outside in winter but the consistency in fabric and sizing is astounding, you almost need to try them all on in store to make sure ur getting what you want!

They fit closer than the women’s Cloud sweatpants, but I like that as they don’t bag out at the butt and thighs after wearing like those do. Size 2/XS women fits exactly as expected if you are slim. Regular women’s Cloud sweatpants are better if you are curvy.Length is great for me as a short woman but if you are tall they might not work for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, love the zipper pockets These are my fav sweatpants of all time so obviously I have 3 pairs. They're roomy yet cozy, structured yet loose. 5'8 26" waist 36" hips and the size 2 fits perfectly. I'll say that these fit a bit "small" relative to Roots sizing bc I usually have to size down to XS here but my normal size is usually S. I love that you can throw these in the dryer and they come out the same, it just makes life so much easier that Roots ensures we can machine wash/dry sweats compared to another very popular Canadian option. My first pair of these have been worn at least 3-4x/week through the winter and they fit exactly the same as day one. I also love the zipper pocket! Good job, Roots! I'll be back for more colours :)
