I did order an XXL as that is usually my size with other clothing companies, but this jacket fit more like a 3XL. I loved it as it is very comfortable and very good quality, but this size on my frame made the fit very frumpy looking and when I tried to get an exchange for an XL, they were all sold out of XL.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pros outweigh cons for me I got this coat about a month ago, and I love it but it does have flaws. To me, it's perfect for the 10c to -15c temperature range and it looks extremely classy. Whenever I wear it out I receive compliments, but there are definite quality control issues. I have had one button fall off so far and a few others are loose. This isn't a deal breaker to me as it isn't that difficult to sew back on, but may be for others. I wish there was a slit at the back, my walking isn't restricted but it would make it feel a bit more natural. The belt is a bit high if you're large chested but you can position it so it looks good. I normally wear an XL-XXL in roots and the XXL fits nicely with room for a bulky sweater underneath in case you want more warmth. With all that said, I've ordered a second colour as I find it extremely flattering.

Although it showed available online, two days after I ordered and anticipated my shipping date I received an email that my order had been canceled. I tried to order it again when back in stock and the agent assisting me said that in order to get the same sale price that I had recently purchased the coat for when it was canceled, I would have to purchase it at full price and ask for a refund as a price adjustment after. My first experience with Roots and its customer service has been undesirable at best. I was a brand new customer, and will not be a return customer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm & Cozy Relaxed Fit Dresses you up a little while still being able to wear bulky winter layers underneath. Is warm and cozy on days traveling across town from meeting to meeting. Not meant for heavy winter weather, wet snow, but great for dry winter days. Buttons are not well sewn on, so be for warned, and secure them before you lose them!
