In 1992, over 25 years ago, we introduced the Roots TUFF Boot. Inspired by the authentic look of durable work boots, we developed this lighter-weight boot that combines rugged style with modern comfort. Made with quality materials and waterproof waxy nubuck leather to keep you comfortable for your everyday adventures.

Two Versatile Insoles for Your Journeys
Comes with our City insole for a more contoured fit for thinner socks, and our less contoured Cabin insole with more room for a thicker sock.

I actually have them in black, olive, pink, and this new color. I have a ankle that has had two surgeries on and has been dislocated and broken. So I need the support. I find these boots to really give me the support I need and the comfort I want. I am able to take a new pair and work on my feet for 8 hours without tired aching feet. They are fashionable look great with leggings and wear well. My black ones I have had for four years and still look good. I wanted this color last year but they sold out before I was able to buy them, so I grabbed them now and excited to have this great color!!!!

The only thing that bumped these down from what would surely be a 5/5 is that the rubber of the sole has split along the toe, requiring glue etc. to repair. A little disappointing in what is otherwise an excellent purchase, but likely that I just ended up with an outlier pair.
