Prior to ordering these online I called a Roots store and inquired about the sizing (as they were a final sale). The store associate was definite that they fit true tio size so I ordered my regular size xsmall. After receiving them I tried them in and they were huge. I was very disappointed as I had done my research and trusted the information I received from the associate. Now I am stuck with them and unable to use them or return them. I am used to much better customer service from Roots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soft, warm, thoughtful features, but fit is WEIRD I have two medium pants from Roots in other styles and thought they fit a bit snug, so I went up to large on this one- probably not the right choice. The thick, fleece-lined pockets on front and back make for a very bulky fit. Unflattering wouldn’t bother me, but it creates awkward gaps of fabric in the crotch and butt. The quality seems nice, but I’m concerned about the leg band mentioned in an earlier review.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How to save it?! Pretty thick and soft fleece. Love the material! Expected a warm winter with it. But after the first wash, even a delicate cold wash, the elastic is broken… I even just try it for 2 minutes. Just can't believe the quality. Now my right leg feels cold because of its above-ankle length. How can I save it? : (

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost perfect ALMOST perfect pants. I am short, 5'1, and these are the perfect length for me! The fabric is amazing, beautiful colors, but whyyyyyyy did they put pockets on the butt for the women's version? Fleece is a thick fabric, so these make your butt look HUGE! Very disappointing, I'm trying to decide if I keep them and have the pockets removed, or just send them back and spend double the money on North Face or Patagonia. They almost had it. :(
