I buy Roots very frequently where i can confidently say it takes up 75% of my wardrobe, i wear it everyday for work and/or when going out or just lounging. It's honestly been a staple in my wardrobe for as long as i can remember and the quality has always been amazing, but the last 4 sweatshirts bought from Roots (including this one) have stained really easily and are now essentially ruined. I'm not quite sure what i've specifically dropped on them, sometimes food, sometimes a sip of a soda or something, nothing too serious or something that should cause serious staining or shouldn't come out in the wash... BUT alas that is not the case, they don't come out in the wash and spot treating hasn't been working either. It is beyond frustrating having paid ~80$/sweatshirt to only wear them less than 5 times each, sometimes only once, and they have now taken their rightful place in my dirty house work clothes because i can't imagine wearing stained clothes in public or to work. I don't know if Roots has changed their material or what is going on, but i am so disappointed, it's almost 400$ down the drain since i can't really wear them anymore, definitely won't be buying more anytime soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Daniecomo from Quality has dropped off Recent years the quality of these over priced sweatshirts have declined Bought this in January and it feels like a high school class project sowed it together; the fit is off and the quality of the material is flimsy I comparison you a sweatshirt I bought in 2011 that I wore all the time sadly had to retire it last year this sweatshirt will not come close to that Feels like a sweatshirt you would buy at giant tiger with the price point of a high end store
