Due to that it seems the actual sleeve length is shorter but the roomy torso sort of makes up the length, but this means you won't have a tight fit under the arms. I have quite long arms and am also used to women's hoodie designs with long arms or extra long arms with thumb holes (that I don't use but it gives me that extra sleeve length). Overall still very comfy. I like not having hoodie pulls dangling, and the criss cross hood style is fun but doesn't always lay flat/correctly. I wear size M for all my other Roots hoodies and found this one looser, so that may have effected how the hood lies. The lavender colour is quite light and cool, compared to other purples it leans slightly towards a periwinkle blue.

Looking forward to buying in other colours in the future as well! it washes so well, is great quality, and the fit is so flattering! these are my favourite hoodies I own - great for lounging, travelling, and great comfy clothes for when I work from home in the evenings and on weekends.

It fit quite a bit larger that I was expecting and I would have exchanged but by that time the smaller size was not available. But it is cozy and perfect for lounging around the house
