Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality I am very unhappy about the quality. I have worn my “made in Canada “ Roots Tuff boots for 20+ years. I ordered the same size I have but these new ones are considerably narrower. The quality of the boot is more like a slipper than a boot. Hopefully I can use a trusted leather stretcher to at least be able to wear them as they are not refundable. Unless Roots start making these boots in Canada again, I won’t be buying any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect name for them “tuff boot “ I have had multiple pairs over the last 25 years. Current pair are at least 8 years old and just bought a replacement pair that were on sale for half price. My 17 year old son even has a pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same Tuff Boot I bought these boots as I have had multiple pairs and my current black ones were done. These are Tuff Boots are similar but different. The bold exposed stitching along the sole is not present and the actual instep is decreased which gives a lower profile / tighter fit. Definitely a different “Tuff Boot” than what I have purchased over the last 15yrs. Will see how it holds up. They were on sale with $100 off so not sure if that’s an actual sale or sale due to bad performance and wanting to liquidate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots and good winter grip I’ve had two pairs of these over the last 30 years and they are a dream. I love the pull tabs which are better than the Blundstones. Great grip on the winter though they are not too warm below -20 degrees. A little mink oil and these puppies are ready for a walk or a hike.
