It looked as though it may have already been washed as well, like perhaps someone had already purchased it, tried unsuccessfully to get the stain out, and then returned it (the only tag was attached by a pin, so reattachable, and the inner tag with the care instructions had sticker residue/staining as though the stickers that were there had been washed off). The stain is some sort of black ink it looks like, which I’m unable to get out. I did contact customer support upping receiving the order but was only refunded 10% and my original shipping cost. It seems like this sweater shouldn’t have been sold (or re-sold), and I wish now that I had returned it instead (would have had to mail it back in and repurchase). Disappointing experience, not likely to shop online through Roots again unfortunately.
