Rated 5 out of 5 by from It gets better with age I have had my bag for a year now. I use it every day. Work/casual, I never change bags. It's a workhorse. It looks better today than the day I got it. I get lots of compliments and people ask me where I got it. Living in Washington D.C., you don't see a lot of Roots bags around here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Stylish Bag The bag i really good except it is not wide. It is deep but not wide. Although the bag is big but I cannot put many things since it is not wide. I should see the 360 degrees view . When you check it you can see if you do not consider it is not a big deal, amazing bag but I rather preferred wider. Roots should consider about that.In general very quality both leather and inside layers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Updated original gets better I have an original Roots flat bag (going on 18 years!) in this design in the pebbled prince leather which I continue to love. The Canadian Villager is a wonderfully updated version with a larger open pocket in the front to throw in my larger phone. As well, a not quite flat design is perfect as it carries items without looked like it is bulked out. Overall, love this extremely practical yet super stylish bag.
