Well made but largeWas debating between XS and S and finally decided to go with the XS. I’m currently 169cm and 128lbs. And the XS fits loose on me. Fabric is thick but because of the thickness it isn’t very soft feeling, kinda rough to the touch. Wish it’s softer and more flowy but overall it’s a good buy.

A Canadian ClassicI've come to know what to expect of sizing with Roots tops and what “relaxed” means. Normally I'm a small in tees but in these relaxed tops if I don't size down, I'm swimming in it, it's so big - even though I'm 5'5” and 125lbs. The navy plaid suddenly went out of stock online so I called my local store and asked for an XS to be put aside. I got down there and sure enough it fit. Sold!
Nice navy blue and royal blue plaid with white, and a bit of gold and maroon - it's not bold like some of the other plaids but won't go out of style either. It'll pair with just about anything. It's 100% cotton. I see no issues with the stitching on mine, other than the sides not matching up on the pattern - but honestly most brands don't do this anymore. My only other pet peeve is the amount of loose threads I had to pull or cut off. Please do this! It has one shirt patch pocket - some retailers have done away with flannel shirt pockets for women this fall and I've walked away. Ick. My plaids MUST have a pocket. I like the “locker loops” on these Roots shirts too.
The shirt was somewhat on sale but I know it'll last me years, so I'm getting good value. I'd rather buy one good top a year and I'm happy with this choice. I'm ALMOST looking forward to fall so I can wear it,
