Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointed in the new Accordion crossbody It’s not Roots Quality! Do not recommend. I was so disappointed to see the quality of this bag. I did not think that Roots who for years has based their brand on quality leather would manufacture something so simple, that does not meet the standards of their goods produced thus far. When I purchase Roots, and I have quite a few 8 wallets, 13 bags, 2 back packs, and multiple pouches I look forward to the scent of the leather the touch of the quality what Roots is known for. The newest line you have supplied your faithful customers too has been very disappointing. We purchase from ROOTS because we want the leather the quality the scent the touch the unique markings we get when it is used over time. The bag tells a story of every scratch every mark and every wrinkle. I would not recommend this product. I was not expecting what I received When I called the ROOTS customer service even their representative could not confirm if it was a leather. I quote “ well, it’s kind of like Leather but not really. I honestly don’t know how to describe it” I was just so surprised to know even their customer service was not convincing. I have returned the product .. so disappointed My sister was also purchasing one for her up coming Vacation and she has changed her mind Roots, I am afraid you will loose your faithful leather supporters. To follow this new Plant friendly / vegan alternative. Just remember purchasing is a choice. If your purchasing from ROOTS it’s because you WANT the leather There are many other alternatives on the market To purchase from. So sad you went this route I wish you well
