Rated 2 out of 5 by Reanna17 from ehhh... I'm very surprised about the rave reviews of this shirt. I ordered this shirt on sale, and without seeing it in person first. Upon opening my package, my first thought when I saw this shirt was that it looked cream in colour. Like, to the point that it almost looked "yellow-ish" in colour. Tried it on, and was disappointed at how see through it is. I guess you can sort of tell by the photo of the model (mostly where the kangaroo pocket is a brighter 'egret' than the rest of the shirt because it's two layers of material). Also, the material was unexpected. I also bought the Journey Long Sleeve Top in the same order, and it's more of a spandex type of material. For being a "Journey" product, I thought it would be the same material - it isn't. It's not quite a sweatshirt material either. It's a very light, not soft, fleece. Surprised reviews said it was soft. Also, it's very boxy. The sleeves fit well, good length, but from the dropped shoulder and up, it has no shape what so ever. If you hold your arms out to the sides, it looks like a box. In terms of style, I love the gold zipper ( I wish more Roots products would have a gold zipper - mostly the purses - gives items a feminine and expensive touch). I would have like to have seen a logo or something on the back of the collar too. Sadly, I do not recommend.

The pocket is awkward inside and therefore not functional for use. I thought it was a design or manufacturing error but see that Roots does detail this in their information.
