Sent them backI agree with the other reviewer about these boots. Adding on that once they were on, they were really uncomfortable and painful. I couldn't see myself walking around in them without a lot of discomfort. Nice-looking and unique, though.

Looks great but that's it.These boots look great in the ad, and they look great in person. However, the loops holding the laces are made out of thin cord. Since the loops are small, it is very difficult to adjust the laces, and I question how long those loops would last with the pulling and abrasion from trying to adjust the laces. In addition, there is no zipper, so taking the boots on and off would be very time consuming. Personally I found it challenging to get my foot into the boot, and also very hard to take off. I accidentally kicked myself in the shin in the process. The maple leaf imprinted rubber sole is lovely and I think it would provide good traction, but the thickness of the sole is perhaps partially why it is inflexible and uncomfortable. The suede tongue feels thin to me.
Aesthetically it's a nice looking boot, but they are not comfortable, and the lacing system is not practical. Give me some tone-on-tone grommets for the laces, and a flexible sole, and this would have been a winner.
