But after wearing for a full day they were really comfortable. And once washed they didn't become tight again. I do recommend washing in cold water for sure, and low heat drying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect! Love these pants! But they are a little thicker than I anticipated- so they are almost too warm. So, for that reason, I am not giving them a perfect 5/5! But if you do want extra warm pants, these are perfect for outdoors. Just too warm for me to wear casually around my house. That said - the quality is amazing. These are the first roots pants that I’ve had to buy since my previous pair in 2011, and those tore recently due to wear and tear. But they lasted me over 10 years of wearing them regularly. I’d recommend these to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roots makes the best sweats! These pants are super comfortable, soft with a nicely slim lower leg. Though they do stretch out quite a bit around the bum area after wearing for a short time, I wouldn’t necessarily go a size up.

I had a pair that I unfortunately ripped and I bought a cheap pair of sweat pants from Costco and used those for months until I rebought these pants and I don't know how I lasted so long without these. They are so comfortable and warm. I actually ended up ordering a second pair too.
