Rated 2 out of 5 by from The fit of these “Original Organic” is different! I was excited when these “mango” yellow sweats went on sale, so I ordered two pairs of “Organic Original”. Roots sweats are the only pants I wear other than scrubs. I have been wearing Roots Original sweats for decades. I was sad to discover that not only are the pants much darker and more orange than expected based on the website pictures, but they also do not fit like Roots Original sweats. They are much tighter and more form-fitting. As you can see from my included photos, they are tighter right through the leg than Roots Original sweats purchased last fall in A SIZE SMALLER! And they are WAY tighter than Roots Original sweats of the same size (also purchased last fall). I wouldn’t expect a slim fit just because they’re organic now; they’re still supposed to be “Original” cut by Roots! :( I don’t like slim cut. If I wanted slim cut, I would have ordered from the slim line. And if I wanted the colour of envelopes, I wouldn’t have ordered yellow. It could be worse, but I’m definitely not impressed. *Note: I am a woman, and the new sweats are men’s, but so are both of the ones from last fall shown in the side-by-side pictures. I only have one pair of Roots women’s sweats because I wanted a particular colour, but they fit funny because I have no hips. So I always buy men’s, and have for years. I have about 18-20 pairs of Roots Original Sweats right now.
