I wear it with a long sleeved polo in the fall and with a long coloured smock coat in the winter to double as a scarf/cape look. The edge detail is nice but the cape fabric is a not the softest so it definetly needs to be layered.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a roots fan anymore from Waste of money This is the most uncomfortable and awkward feeling item that I have ever purchased from Roots. Unfortunately, I purchased it on final sale. It will never be worn. I guess that’s why it was final sale it’s the beginning of fall.

Instructed would help. It also fits small, so order it in a very large size. As it is a vest, I’d suggest wearing it to an event as part of a jeans and long sleeve t shirt out fit. It’s not an out door every day jacket.
