DENYSE GREEN has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and is certified in Hatha classical studies. Her classes emphasize awareness of the body with relaxation, breathing and attention to alignment.

JANET CROKEN has been practicing yoga for 20 years and has been certified in the Fluid Yoga style for eight years. She is a Registered Massage Therapist and has a B.A. in Social Communications.

JANICE SKINNER has been teaching Yoga, Movement and Breathwork for 20 years.  Her style of Fluid Yoga integrates alignment, asanas, movement as inner work and exploration, pranayama and mindfulness. She also leads groups and individuals in meditation, sound, and breath for health and  well-being.

KAREN JULL has practiced yoga for over 10 years and has her teaching certificate in the Iyengar method of Hatha Yoga. Her special interests include children and pre/post natal yoga.

LAURIE CAMPBELL began her study of Ashtanga Yoga in 1999. She has completed teacher-training at The Downward Dog Studio as well as intensive training with Richard Freeman, Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty. Laurie considers herself blessed to have found this path and continues to be grateful for every step.

MICHELLE KATZ is a certified Iyengar Yoga therapist, meditation teacher and Jewish spiritual director, who has been practising and teaching for more than 20 years. She provides workshops, retreats and one-on-one sessions in corporate, communal and private settings.

SANDRA CALLENDER is a Kripalu Yoga instructor and Phoenix Rising Yoga therapist, inspired by 15 years of teaching. Her love of yoga has prompted her to study with master teachers, including the work of Vanda Scaravelli. Her teaching style encourages an awareness of alignment with a heart-centered focus.

Meredith Bannan began her yoga practice in the late 1990’s and has been teaching asana, meditation and pranayama since 2004. She studies Classical Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance of Sri Baba Hari Dass, and has completed both an intensive teacher training and residential study program at his California centre. Her classes are dynamic and deeply therapeutic, inspired by her experience in the Anusara, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin Yoga traditions.

TRACEY SOGHRATI is a certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, Critical Care Registered Nurse and Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner. Her significant background in physiology guides her sequencing and her classes are filled with creativity, passion and depth. Cindy Campbell began practicing Iyengar yoga in 1998. Her respect for the depth and thoroughness of this method of Hatha yoga led her to train as an Iyengar yoga teacher, and she began teaching in 2005. Cindy continues to be inspired by leading Iyengar teachers in Canada, and in 2010 she traveled to India to study with the Iyengar family to further her work towards her next level of certification. Cindy is energetic, caring about students' needs, and compassionate in her teaching style.

Natalya Grod has been a certified Yoga and Pilates Instructor since 2002. She has had the great fortune to study with numerous gifted teachers from various traditions. Most recently she returned from Nassau Bahamas where she completed her Advance Sivananda Training. Natalya studied ballet, modern dance and Kinesiology and has an excellent working knowledge of body mechanics. Her classes are intelligently put together and delivered with enthusiasm. She is patient and gentle, but gives a challenging workout - always with a kind smile on her face.

Grethe Liverud is a 200 Hour Level Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher and obtained her certification through Spynga The Yoga & Cycling Studio in Toronto. She offers inspiring music based vinyasa yoga classes, and always seeks to teach classes that are challenging, yet creative and fun at the same time.
Grethe has been inspired by yoga traditions such as Vinyasa, Sivananda and Hatha, and her greatest teachers of inspiration are Tracey Soghrati and Sari Nisker. With a mixed background from Japan and Norway, she draws upon her multicultural background to deliver a class that is appealing to all levels and has a warm personality that connects her to the students.
Grethe holds a Master in Marketing Management and a Bachelor in East Asian Studies. In her free time she loves to read and travel.

Kirstin Hinton was first exposed to Pilates while studying acting at York University, and has been a Stott-certified Pilates instructor since 2006. She recently spent four years in Los Angeles working with a chiropractor and physical therapist, where she was exposed to several different styles of training. Her classes are fluid and creative, and her sense of humour keeps things light throughout the challenge.

Sheldon Shannon was a competitive gymnast in his youth and today is an avid cyclist. Four years ago, he found himself drawn to yoga when he started practicing Hatha. For Sheldon, this naturally lead to ashtanga yoga and the Downward Dog Yoga Studio. He received full teacher training certification there under the tutelage and guidance of Ron Reid and Diane Bruni. Sheldon continues his ashtanga journey with a daily mysore practice under the direction of Ron Reid. As a teacher, Sheldon ensures a positive and safe environment which is always filled with fun and laughter.

Christine Felstead Christine Felstead has successfully married her twin passions for yoga and running to develop a yoga program designed specifically for runners. Christine pioneered the development of Yoga for Runners and today is the leading authority on the practice. Her passion for teaching yoga to runners stems from the experience of witnessing the effects of yoga on her own achy, stiff and prone-to-injury runners body! Her approach with athletes is compassionate, encouraging students to find their personal limits and then work to explore beyond them. Her best-selling DVDs, The Essentials: Beginner Program and Intermediate Program have helped spread her work globally.

Marla Meenakshi Joy Marla has been teaching yoga for the past 20 years, Ashtanga Vinyasa-based, as well as a teacher trainer in Yoga philosophy and Sanskrit since 1999. She leads kirtan as well, and travels around the globe endeavoring to bring her passion of yoga and music together.
