Toronto
– On Tuesday February 10th, 2004 Roots will begin selling
the limited edition Late night with Conan O’Brien clothing
line available only at the Toronto Eaton Centre Location. Available
for only 4 days, February 10th – 13th, the clothing line will
include T-shirts, toques and hoodies.
In addition to supporting the Conan O’Brien show with the
sale of these shirts, Roots has not forgotten the whole reason for
Conan taping in Toronto, to assist the hotel and hospitality industry.
To this end, Roots will be donating a percentage of the sale of
each item to the charity supporting the Toronto Hotel and Hospitality
industry.
Established in Toronto in 1973, Roots has evolved into an internationally
recognized lifestyle brand. Starting as a single store with a single
product (Roots Negative Heel Shoe), Roots now have over 200 stores
globally, this privately held company has a state-of the-art production
facilities in Toronto, numerous licensees and employs thousands
of people globally.
