PUTTING DOWN SOME ROOTS WITH TEAM GB AND THE WORLD WIDE WEB

June 28, 2004 -- ROOTS, an Official Outfitter of Parade Wear for Team GB, the Great Britain Olympic Team has launched its UK web site www.uk.roots-direct.com, offering Team GB Official Olympic Merchandise for men, women and children with plans to introduce its quality leather goods, accessories, and Roots originals line early next month. A Roots boutique store also just opened at 10 Foubert’s Place just off London’s Carnaby Street - bringing Canada’s most famous brand across the Atlantic.

A percentage of all Olympic apparel sales go to support the British Olympic Team. Available items include sweatshirts, zipped track jackets, track bottoms, Great Britain T-shirts, vests and hats. Soon to follow products include quality leather handbags, luggage, and accessories.
