ROOTS ONE OF CANADA’S MOST TRUSTED BRANDS, ACCORDING TO NEW POLL

TORONTO – Roots is one of Canada’s five most trusted brands. This according to a new survey of marketing professionals published in the current issue of Strategy Magazine, a Toronto-based advertising trade publication.
The other brands chosen are Tim Hortons, the National Hockey League, Molson Breweries and Mountain Equipment Co-op.

Along with the findings, a top executive at the Leo Burnett advertising agency in Toronto is quoted in the article explaining part of the reason that Canadians have such a positive attitude toward Roots.

“Roots made Canada look good at the Olympics,” said Judy John, Managing Partner at Leo Burnett. “So good in fact that other countries now get their Olympic wear from this Canadian company.”
