– Roots Canada is excited to partner with the Barbados Olympic
Association to create the Official Team Uniform and casual clothing
line for the 2004 Barbados Olympic Team. The new line was inspired
by this teams determination, skill and dedication to the games.
Roots will supply Opening, Podium, and Travel uniforms for the team.
Dressed to succeed, the 2004 Barbados Olympic Team will march with
pride in their country colours of Barbados Royal Blue and Bajan
Gold. For the Opening Parade, Barbados athletes will sport a Roots
Pique Golf shirt with Cargo Pants, BB Stripe Cap and Parade Shoes.
Light weight and fashionable these uniforms arouse a sense of patriotism
featuring the Flying fish, and Blue and Gold glory. On the Podium,
Bajan Medalists will celebrate in their Authentic Roots Podium Jackets
with matching Pants, BB Stripe Cap, Parade Shoes, and Ringer T.
While exploring Athens, the Olympians will cool and comfortable
in their white T-shirt with the Barbados Olympic logo on the chest,
Barbados Royal 80/20 Kanga Hoody, and Jersey Shorts.
The 2004 Barbados Olympic Team Collection will be available for
purchase at select Roots stores in Canada and the United States,
and on-line at www.roots.com. The collection will include Men’s
and Women’s Ringer T’s, Men’s and Women’s
S/S T’s, 80/20 Kanga Hoodies, a women’s Full Zip Hoody,
Barbados Flip-Flops, Wristband, and BB Stripe Cap. A Percentage
of all sales from this line will go towards the Barbados Olympic
Team.
