TORONTO, CANADA -Roots is proud to announce the official opening this month of a beautiful new showroom for its successful line of Roots Home designs. Following its move from Avenue Road, Roots Homeis now open for business for designers, architects, and retail customers at the newly opened Castlefield Design Centre at 1400 Castlefield Ave.

To coincide with the move, Roots Home will be now known as Roots Home Design. The setting may be new but the same high quality leather furniture, leather accessories, bedding, and other custom designs that have made Roots Home so successful will be on view in this spacious, naturally lit location. The showroom, which is grouped according to Living, Sleeping and Travel sections, is especially well suited for interior designers and architects to view the Roots Home Design collection. It is part of the new Roots world headquarters where good design plays an important part.

Launched in 1998, Roots Home Design is led by architect Diane Bald, Creative Director of Roots Home Design who is married to Roots Cofounder Michael Budman. She’s been the driving force behind the project since its inception and is constantly developing new ideas, new designs and new concepts for the Roots Home Design collection. Diane custom designs all the furniture.

“Roots Home Design is a natural evolution for Roots,” says Diane, who has worked in Canada, the US and Europe. “The main feature of this collection is leather furniture which is designed to be comfortable, modern and timeless. Each benchmarked piece is handcrafted in Canada, using the finest materials in keeping with the quality and integrity of Roots products.”
