The Canadian Olympic Speed Skating Team came back from the just-concluded Winter Games in Italy to a heros' welcome. Roots paid tribute to them with special events at our stores, in advertising and media interviews.
Roots Centreville, our flagship store in Montreal, hosted a special reception in honour of Canada’s short track speed skaters and their success in Torino. Many of the athletes and their coaches took part in the event, signing autographs for customers and speaking to the media.
