Roots Bloor Street hosts the official launch party for the 2006 Fashion Targets Breast Cancer T-shirts

Roots hosted a special evening in at the flagship store in Toronto to help launch the 2006 Fashion Targets Breast Cancer T-shirt in support of Rethink Breast Cancer Canada. It’s part of the support that Roots has given in recent years to the fight against breast cancer by the Rethink organization.
In addition to the launch event, Roots makes and sells a special Rethink apparel to generate funds for the charity. This year, in addition to the popular T-shirts, Roots has expanded the program to also include tank tops and baseball caps.
The private, invitation-only event on May 4 featured a performance by the highly gifted singer/songwriter and classically trained pianist Jodi King, who recently released her debut CD on Reach Records.
