TORONTO - On Thursday July 31st, 2003 Canadian icon
Dan Aykroyd will be at Roots, 100 Bloor St. signing his new CD Have Love
Will Travel. This newly released CD features the talents of Jim Belushi-Dan
Aykroyd and the Have Love Will Travel Revue.
Dan Aykroyd, who has been a supporter of Roots Canada for a number of
years, has made appearances in Roots documentaries, and various press
conferences, most recently the announcement of the Roots NBC Experience
store and outfitting of the US Olympic team. He will once again be making
an appearance at the Roots Canada’s Flagship store, this time to
show his support of Toronto, and promote this new album.
Beginning at 5:00pm, Mr. Aykroyd will be signing his new CD, which has
been available for purchase at various Roots locations.
One of Canada’s most talented, Dan Aykroyd began his career as a
member of Toronto’s Second City Comedy group. He became known internationally
as a member of the original Saturday Night Live cast. His talents have
stretched from both comedic and dramatic acting to directing, producing,
writing and singing. Roots Canada is proud to host one of this country's
alumni in the entertainment industry.
