During the Toronto International Film Festival, actor Derek Luke was in town promoting his latest movie Catch a Fire, in which he stars opposite Tim Robbins. The star of Antwone Fisher and Glory Road, Derek picked up a number of items from the men's fall collection.

Pedro Almodóvar visits Roots



As the director of one of the most talked about movies of the festival Volver, Pedro Almodóvar was in high demand, but despite a hectic schedule, he made time to do some shopping at Roots. Seen here with Roots Director of Public Relations, Raymond Perkins.

OSCAR ISAAC AT THE ROOTS CLUBHOUSE




Oscar Isaac, in town promoting his movie The Half Life of Timofey Berezin stopped by the Roots store to do a little shopping before his screening. Oscar picked up a number of great items from the new men's fall collection, including a leather jacket that he liked so much, he wore it to his screening!

WASHINGTON AT ROOTS


Kerry Washington while in town promoting her newest movie The Last King of Scotland during the festival,took time out of a very busy schedule to visit Roots. Kerry is best known for her role in Ray, starring opposite Jamie Fox.

FOREST WHITAKER AT ROOTS


Forest Whitaker, best known for his roles in The Crying Game, Phenomenon, and The Phone Booth,stopped by Roots during the Toronto International Film Festival . Forest was in town promoting his newest movie, The Last King of Scotland.

GABRIEL BYRNE


Internationally recognized Irish actor Gabriel Byrne stopped by the eTalk/Hello! Clubhouse at Roots, while in Toronto for the Toronto International Film Festival. Known for his roles in The Usual Suspects and The Man in the Iron Mask, Gabriel was in town celebrating his newest movie Jindabyne. (seen here with Roots Director of PR, Raymond Perkins)

JOEL MADDEN AT ROOTS


Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, often visits Roots 100Bloor when in Toronto. In town for Return to NY DJ set at State Theatre, Joel took some time out of his busy schedule to stop by Roots and pick up a classic Banff Bag.

PAUL HAGGIS AT ROOTS



With two projects in post-production Paul Haggis has been a busy man. Best known for his work on the Oscar winning movie "Crash" (writter/director), Paul is on a role. Screenwritter for the newest James Bond movie "Casino Royal", he is currently in town promoting his latest project "Flags of our Father"

ASHTON KUTCHER AND KEVIN COSTNER AT ROOTS




When Ashton Kutcher and Kevin Costner arrived at our store to film an AOL Unscripted session to promote their new movie ‘The Guardian’ mass chaos ensued. With thousands outside the store trying to get a glimpse and an autograph from the actors filming was a little tough from the noise from the crowd. Make sure you check out Unscripted to view the final product.
